Dakota Hotel Manchester

This would be a 5 star review, however we wanted to order some drinks to the room. We waited an hour and a half for them to never come. Called twice said it was coming up but they didn’t so we cancelled them. Another thing was the shower was broken a little bit disappointing as for the price these things should be up to standard. On the other hand the staff were lovely and helpful, bar area was great, spacious beautiful rooms, very comfy bed too. Just a shame a few things let our stay down.

I recently visited the bar at the Dakota Hotel and had an exceptional experience thanks to our waitress, Annabelle. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Annabelle struck the perfect balance between being friendly and giving us space to enjoy our evening. She made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and ensured our drinks were always perfect. Her upbeat attitude and genuine care for guests truly stood out and made our visit memorable. Annabelle is a fantastic representative of the Dakota Hotel . her service elevated our night, and we’ll definitely be back because of her. Highly recommended

The all black building lets you know you are in for something different. Inside, the lobby has an elegant, subterranean atmosphere with scattered art works that piques one’s interest. Towards the back of the lobby you’ll find the restaurant, stylish fittings and indirect lighting creates a trendy intimate vibe. The service is attentive and to a good standard. Rooms are of a high quality, have heated bathroom floors and most enjoy a view of the canal. Worth noting the bed is on the softer side which I found comfortable. The valet service might seem expensive but it’s worth the extra cash given the security and added surprises left in the car. No gym, but a free pass are offered to the local pure gym. The location is brilliant for the vibrant Northern Quarter, Piccadilly train station and Central. Overall the hotel has a modern elegant feel and would highly recommend

We stayed at this hotel on a Sunday evening, it was a short walk from the train station where we arrived in the city. First impressions were that the place was warm, modern and discreet. We were greeted with a smile by the girl on reception and check-in was easy and swift, without asking she immediately arranged for our bags to be taken to the room. We then relaxed with a drink in the cosy champagne lounge before going to our room. The lounge was very comfortable and we were very quickly greeted by a waitress to take our order. Our room was on the 6th floor and we had stunning views of the city skyline. The room itself was warm and spotlessly clean, spacious and furnished to a standard that we have come to expect from the hotels in this group that we have visited previously. The food in the Grill restaurant was superb as was the breakfast the following day. This was a Birthday treat weekend and I was made to feel special from the time I arrived until the moment we left, they even left me a personalised card in the room. A wonderful stay and hopefully not my last!

Been here numerous times and can honestly say I have never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome by staff on arrival, Checked in by a very friendly and helpful receptionist and our bags were taken off us to be taken to our room. We then relaxed in the champagne bar where staff were prompt to take our order and bring our drinks. We booked a suite as we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to make it special and it was more than that, The room was pure luxury and the staff had gone out of their way to add special little touches. Evening meal in The Grill was of a very high standard, thoroughly enjoyed by us both as was breakfast the following morning. A big thank you to all at Dakota and look forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Dakota Hotel Manchester and it truly felt like a pure luxury experience from start to finish. The decor throughout the hotel is absolutely stunning, elegant, modern, and beautifully finished, giving the whole place a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant, always happy to help and making us feel valued as guests. Our room was amazing, spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with high quality finishes that made it feel both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The food and drinks were outstanding. Everything we tried was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and attention to detail. The bar area in particular was a lovely place to relax, with an impressive selection of cocktails and a refined ambience. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It is only about a six minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, which made getting in and out of the city completely effortless. Overall, Dakota Hotel Manchester delivers a true five star experience. Luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, fantastic food, and a perfect central location, we could not have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.

Second time staying here now and it doesn’t disappoint. Free room upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surprise! Rooms are outstanding for comfort and cleanliness and staff go above and beyond every time, their professionalism is exemplary. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, in the heart of Manchester. It’s our first choice every time.

What an experience! Spent my evening with a large group of guests from out of the country and surrounding area. Let me just say.. from the receptionist James, to our Host Louie and waitresses Libby and Annabelle. The service provided from this lovely bunch was superb, splendid and marvellous. More than exceptional. From the drinks to the cigars! Hats off to everyone for a great evening
